Default Symbols in chat/guild tag

I searched around, didn't see any topics on this yet (may have overlooked it) But I have seen guilds with symbols in their tag and in the chat. I was wondering how to do this.

Looking for a substitute for (four) or (4) since you can't directly use a 4. [for use in guild tag]

Thanks in advance guys.

the symbols in tags are asian characters, and in chat if you know the alt codes for your OS you can put them in chat.

pretty much, and for the special characters in chat, you have to use the alt code in notepad, then cut/paste.

You can also use the "Insert symbol" function available in most word processors.

Actually, you can't copy/paste. You have to put them into a template code name then copy/paste from that.

Still won't work for guild tags, I believe.

It must be something with my OS then (I'm running Ubuntu) because that just gives me red bars and a "Guild Wars does not yet support this character" message - That, or nothing at all, except the characters it will select.
